After much deliberation, we’ve decided to open up Little Aussie Travellers to other families who would like to share their travelling stories, ideas and photos.
What Type Of Things Can You Write For Little Aussie Travellers?
We’re looking for real life stories from other families who have something they’d like to share.
- Great family destinations that you’ve visited
- Tips for families wanting to travel full time
- Great family friendly campsites
- Pet friendly travel destinations or campsites
- Family friendly camping recipes
- Your real life travel inspiration – Why you decided to travel and how you put it into place
- Great holiday destinations for families
- Trip reports
- Budgeting and money focused information about travelling
- Interesting round ups that are relevant to families
- Photo essays from your travels
- Anything else from a personal perspective that you think other families need to know.
Who Can Write For Little Aussie Travellers?
- We’re looking for personal stories from other families.
- Our readers are interested in real life accounts of families who are out there enjoying Australia. They are looking for useful information from those out there on the road or holidaying with kids. You don’t need to be on the road full time to write for us, we’re interested in short trips and family friendly attractions too.
- We aren’t looking for articles about overseas travel, commercial advertorials (contact us for advertising rates for those), or articles from those who don’t have personal experience to share.
Submission Guidelines for Interested Writers
- Articles must be approximately 300-600 words in length.
- Please include a heading and at least 2 photographs.
- All content must be fresh, not published elsewhere and must be your own.
- All photographs must be your own.
- Your post may be edited for grammatical corrections – we don’t expect perfect writing, we’re happy to smooth it out for you without changing specifics.
- We reserve the right not to publish content that does not fit within our blog editorial goals.
- We’re more than happy to include a link to your own blog, as well as up to 2 links to your social media accounts at the end of the article.
- We’ll share your story across our Facebook and other social media accounts to be sure we help get your story out there.
How to Submit Your Story:
Feel free to drop us a line before you send your story for any questions or to run an idea by us, OR email your full stories and photographs to us for consideration.
We accept submissions by email at: editor@littleaussietravellers.com.au
Either include your submission as a word document, or in the body of the email.
Please don’t send us extremely large picture files, web resolution is fine.
We’ll try to get back to you ASAP, but please allow up to 14 days.
